Samsung unveiled the Samsung i7500 on Monday. It's said to be the first company among the global top three mobile phone manufacturers to unveil an Android-powered phone.
Very much like the upcoming generation of high-end Samsung phones, it features a AMOLED full touch screen (all 3.2 inches of it), 5MP camera, 8GB internal memory (expandable to 32GB). It also supports 7.2Mbps HSDPA and WiFi connectivity. This is especially useful for fast access to Google™ Mobile services such as Google Search™, Google Maps™, Gmail™, YouTube™, Google Calendar™, and Google Talk™ - all of which are made easily accessible on this unit.
I'm a Symbian fan (Innov8 is awesome!) and slowly warming to WinMo so I would love to get my hands on one of these to try out something new. Who knows, it may be the dominant OS in the mobile space in a few years. I do however think that OS types will make very little difference to the consumer in future, both on mobiles and computing but that's a topic for another post.
